Sea Trout and Grilse Loch Fishing

Sea Trout and Grilse Loch fishing style.  For you who are lucky enough to have sea fairing fish to catch in a loch oh what fun and excitement. Floating lines and dibbling the flies through the waves or sitting a few hoppers up for the Sea Trout to engulf.

Here are a few of my favorite patterns for dibbling –

We also have longshank Muddlers for those windy days where a larger wake is required.

There are many well know hackled wet flies that fish well on the middle dropper –

Sea Trout love a bit of Fluorescence in their fly so make sure you have a fly with it.

Now stop all that pulling and settle down to a bit of dry fly fishing with hoppers. Sit your hoppers up on the surface and twitch them to attract interest and the Sea Trout will pop up quite happily and take them. One of the most pleasurable ways of Sea Trout fishing on  a loch.

You can also Gink up ordinary hopper patterns –

Caledonia Fly Company wish you all tight lines and hope you have a very busy season catching your favorite fish. If you wish to see more of our patterns please look at our new 2019 online brochure and buy them from our stockists list.
