Red Devils

What are the best late October and November flies. With fewer fresh fish running in the Autumn and with the old spring and summer fish getting fussier and fussier to take a fly, what do you try.

I have put together a few of my favorites that might spark some back end sport for you.

My local river Earn is fishing not bad at all and we have been out having a good bit of sport on my favorite autumn fly the Copper Devil (Red Devil) we called it the copper devil as we added a copper tinsel body as copper is a firm favorite with slightly coloured water.

2010

Caledonia Fly Company wish you all tight lines and hope you have a good end to the season. Don’t get too down over the winter months as it will soon be time to get the warmer outfits on and the fast sinking heads looked out and head out for a 2018 Springer!
