Three Blue Angels

Caledonia Fly Company has released one of the most well kept secret patterns on the river Tay. The Blue Angel was designed by Jimmy Last who was a highly regarded ghillie on the
Lower Scone beat of the river Tay. The Blue Angel is not a secret to Tay regular Danny Fulton who has it firmly as his top spring pattern. The proof is in the pudding normally and Danny over the year has proved this with some fantastic catches when those around him look on and wonder how he manages to be so consistent. The above picture is from Saturday when he caught this magnificent 25lb fish from the Catholes beat at Stanley.

I have added two variations last season of the pattern which are great when you don’t need a copper tube. Both are tied in the bullet proof Partridge Patriot double which will allow you to land any fish with confidence.

Last to be released but by no means one to forget about is the Blue Angel Feeler, stunning in looks and in attracting salmon.

Caledonia Fly Company wish you all tight lines and hope you land that very much prized Atlantic Salmon. If you wish to see more of our patterns please look at our online brochure and buy them from our stockists list.
