Last season we were lucky enough to given one of the lower river Tay’s Spring secret
patterns and it did not disappoint. The Blue Angel tube fly is normally fished on the lower beats in January to March. The Blue Angel does not look much but with its contrasting wing colours and blue holographic body it stands out like a sore thumb in the water, tied on a copper tube in two sizes 3/4″ and 1 1/4″
The second pattern is called the Golden Angel designed to been seen in those cold early season waters, it will also fish later on in the season and is an outstanding peaty water fly.
It has striking colours of sunburst yellow and orange with just a hint of black , tied on a copper tube in sizes 1/4″ 1/2″ 1″ and 1 1/2″
