Grayling Bugs & Nymphs

Spring water is a plenty and only a few days have been perfect for getting out the lightweight rods and heading out for a cast for the prettiest fish swimming in our rivers and streams.


What flies to use in these high water conditions as we are heading to the end of January water temperatures are not as cold as normal for this time of year, but you will still need to get your bugs/nymphs down to the bottom and bouncing along the gravel beds. Here are a few patterns that are worth a cast in February –
